Curriculum Using gymnastics as a tool, our curriculum strengthens the child's physical, social, and intellectual abilities by engaging the mind as well as the body.  We subscribe to a differential teaching approach that is goal oriented and promotes personal achievement.

 

Gymnastics Classes 18 months to 8 years


Footprints
(Ages 18mth -3yrs with adult participation) 60 minutes 

It is important to support parents in this rewarding period in their child’s life as they move from being a dependant baby towards relative independence. Our movement education program uses innovative lesson plans to teach basic gymnastics skills and positions, balance, coordination, confidence, and motor skill development in a progressive format. Watch your child develop as well as make new friends. Don’t be surprised if new friendships form for you as well.

Lunch Bunch (Ages 2 ½ -3 ½ years)15 minute lunch 45 minute class time

This lunch/gym program will be cultivating socialization skills as they transition into a class setting without a parent or guardian by capturing a young students’ excitement as they learn and appreciate more about the world around them and, ultimately, themselves. During the lunch period your child is introduced to one of our various themes and exploration continues throughout gymnastics class.
 
Perfect Preschoolers(Ages 3-4 ½ yrs) 60 minutes

This program is an introduction to basic gymnastic skills encompassing many varied movements, balance and poise, flexibility/strength development, and beginner tumbling. Social components are introduced to your child in order to prepare them for the transition into a school setting. Learn in a playful atmosphere filled with positive reinforcement and successful experiences.
 
Graduates (Ages 5-6 years) 60 minutes
 
Our progressive curriculum includes tumbling and gymnastics skills, correct body positioning, balance and poise, flexibility/strength development and tumble track for coordination and air sense. The program challenges the gymnasts in order to promote them to strive towards achievement and increase skill development as they mature.

Graduates II (Ages 7-8 years) 60 minutes

As we continue our curriculum to include intermediate skills, this program challenges the gymnasts in order to promote them to strive towards achievement and increase skill development.  The program will include tumbling and gymnastics skill, beginner technique for back handsprings.
